Oops, I started typing a comment and it disappeared - the wonders of cyberspace. What I was starting to say was - I LOVE the new quilt - I have done paper designs like this and computer ones, but never a quilt. What a great idea - when are you going to make the pattern/instructions available???
ReplyDeleteThose squares are incredibly effective!
ReplyDeleteLisa,
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual quilt your playing around wqith the cutout squares has really paid off.
Just want to say that I love the new quilt, and to have a wonderful time in the UK!
ReplyDeleteThese are lovely examples of your work and the top one is a very successful optical illision. Thanks for sharing them.

ReplyDeleteI love that cut out magic quilt. I'm too far away to take a class. are you selling a pattern or tutorial for it? I'd like to buy a copy.

Thanks for all your great comments. I don't have plans at the moment to turn it into a pattern as I think it works better as a workshop. However - if there is enough interest I could be tempted.
ReplyDeleteHi Lisa
ReplyDeleteIf you send me written instructions to the cutout magic i'll send you a yard of batik - your color choice.
let me know.
