This quilt is called Flowing I and I have just been adding a few more beads and label before sending it off to the State of the Art Quilt 10 Exhibition which is a juried exhibition put on by the Queensland Quilters Art Quilts. The exhibition will be launced at the Australasian Quilt Convention in Melbourne in March and the Textile Arts Festival in Brisbane in June.

ReplyDeleteWow, it really has so much movement. It's stunning.
ReplyDeleteNice, "flow." You've really captured the motion with your quilting and your beading. It's 7 degrees in NH. I am sending you a cool breeze.

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous piece. It is quite intriguing that you've chosen such a hot colour for a composition that would seem to be a river and might be blue. Could be lava, of course!
It's like a heat wave! Beautiful work...good luck with the exhibit!
