Great Balls of Thread

We recently had dinner with some old friends - in fact Debbie was the one who had introduced me to patchwork all those years ago so she has a lot to answer for doesn't she?

Anyway - she does not do as much quilting these days but loves making Temari Balls. This ancient Janpanese craft is really interesting and (I suspect) addictive. Debbie has made some gorgeous ones and it was really interesting to see how they are made.
