Where do you dye?

I often get asked where we do our dyeing for Dyed & Gone to Heaven and people are suprised when I tell them we do it out in the garden. It is a wonderful space and even in winter it is sheltered and enjoyable. It never gets too cold in Sydney.

Over the last few years Peter has taken over most of the production dyeing leaving me free to be more experimental. Here is is hard at work in the summer sun.

Here are some Venetian Canal kits being prepared - I am allowed to do the cutting and packing.

I bet you don't mind that he is doing all the 'hard' work while you can ponder on new ideas.....

If you ever find a kit cutting/packing fairy, please send me a clone!

I love Peter's polo shirt! Maybe you could start a sideline called "Serendipity Shirts".

I sure hope you give Peter breaks every now and then. I worry about how hard you work him!

If you've got an extra focal piece for Canals, you can send it my way. I'm not thrilled with my piece and keep meaning to try again, but haven't gotten around to it.
