Finished Another

Finished the embellished piece I showed earlier in December.

Added more yarn to the top and the gold foil which was on the first layer is still peeking through which is nice

I did some wonky herringbone stitching with some hand dyed variagated thread which I have had for about 4 years so I felt quite virtuous.

More stitching - probably needs a name but I am not very good at names. Any ideas?

Beautiful piece, Lisa! It could be sort of a landscape with the setting sun - how about "Lavender Sky" as a name?

Hello Lisa! I love the top detail. Usually I don't care for needle felted pieces... often they seem to be more about technique than good design but your work is lovely. You've got it down! I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Thank you, thank you. My husband gave me an embellishing machine for our 40th anniversary( double life sentence and sometimes it feels like it!). I have "played" just a little but this work is so beautiful it inspires me --have to get it out and play heaps more. Please keep showing the pieces you are making on the machine.

Reminds me of strata. Would that work for a name?
