It is always devastating when this happens but Cindy in Tasmania - who does lovely work - had this brilliant quilt stolen from an exhibition last week in St Helens. Even more upsetting is that it had been sold.

That is such bad luck. I am a textile artist too and often wondered if this would ever happen as work is rarely insured in exhibitions I show at. At least some small compensation someone really rated the work!
I would go further and say there is a special circle of hell reserved especially for those who would commit such a heinous act. Dirt bags! It's just appalling and inexcusable!
