Latest Back

I have just finished a magazine commission but really fell in love with the back. I intensely quilted it with Superior Threads King Tut thread (2000yd spool) which was brilliant. I used it in the top and the bobbin (about 10 bobbins full) and it didn't break once which was wonderful.

I quilted it on my Janome 6500P (now 6600P) which has run practically non stop in the 3 years I have had it. It has never skipped a beat and I run it fairly hard.
Can't show you the front yet but just kept running my hands over the back while I stitched the binding and thought I would show you.

I just noticed my first visitor from Japan has appeared and as I am off to Tokyo in a couple of weeks to see the Tokyo International Quilt Show I am doubly excited.

Grin! It's like looking at calligraphy upside down to see if the rhythm and flow work. If the quilting looks good on the back, you're good to go!

Can't wait to see the front and the mag!
Cheers, Sarah, who frittered away the day....

Yes I often prefer the box to the content as well :)
