It has been a great few days but the Sydney Show is now over. It has been really wonderful spending 5 whole days just being with quilters and friends and even my children. Everyone has been so great and supportive and we have had a fabulous time. It takes so long to build up to it and then it is over.
I have the sore feet to prove it but the packing up went really smoothly and tomorrow I will (slowly) go through everything and put it all away.
Now I have a couple of months to concentrate on creating some new pieces for my exhibition at the end of August. I will also be spending this time teaching which I love.
Life is good - well it will be better when I get a good night's sleep and my feet stop aching.

Congratulations on your successful show!
Congratulations on your show. I had mentioned your firestorm pattern to a friend and she rang me from the show standing in front of it, telling me just how gorgeous it is in person.
Are you planning on attending the melbourne craft show?
