END OF AN ERA

Well for me anyway. For those of you who don't/didn't know - I actually had a real job with a steady income and great perks - like cheap travel.

Today marks the end of that security - I have resigned and as of tomorrow I will just be a self employed struggling artist. Wish me luck - it has been a long time coming but I think it is the right decision.

What have I done!!!!

I wish you the best for your new adventure! Sure you will be struggling, but you'll also do what you like, being an artist.

and if that avenue isn't good, you can always go back, as much, or as little as needed

Lisa, next year this time, you will be saying, "I'm so glad I did it!"

Good for you, Lisa! I live by the adage there are no wrong decisions, only different ones. Look forward with excitement, not back with regret.
I know you'll do well. You're far too talented and know how to work hard, to be one of the ones that fall by the wayside.
Bets wishes with it all. I'm sure I'll meet you in one of your workshops one day!

Hi Lisa

Go for it! In my experience its scarier for family and friends than it is for you. I found it very liberating. Have Fun!

Thanks so much everyone - I feel really great about it and am even sleeping through the night a couple of times for the first time in years. That must be a good sign. Now back out to the jungle I used to call a garden!
