Great Wall of Lewisham

Some of you may remember the great chainsaw massacre of our back garden a few weeks ago where most of my protection from prying neighbours eyes was removed. Well the fence needed to be replaced too and palings have been falling off with regularity since their green protection disappeared.

So this week's adventure was to get a new one put up and we were allowed (!) by the neighbours to go a bit higher for privacy . I don't think they realised quite how high 8' is but we are pleased.

It looks very stark and big at the moment but once we get plants in again it should be fine - I hope.

Brilliant fence, all you need now is a garden :P
