Au Revoir Paris

Well we have left Paris but here are a few last minute images. We spent our last day getting luggage into storage at the Gare du Nord Railway station (for a late night flight) and then catching a local bus to the end of it's route which happened to be the Bois de Bologne. We bought final french groceries and had a picnic watching lots of atlethic French people running around with various size balls.

This necklace is my only major purchase in Paris but I couldn't resist it

Final food images of our little street to keep me going through the soon to come diet.

This sculpture was seen on the bus route just near Gare St Lazare

There were the dreaded golden arches everywhere but this one nearly escape me. I am sure this was a beautiful building once.

Glimpses of Art Deco are everywhere in Paris.

And so we say farewell to Paris but I know I will return - it is just one of life's pleasures.
Now onto Seoul for a few days for hopefully some bead therapy.
Reality and home is looming closer.

Aahh, Lisa, your trip to Paris reminds my of a trip I had there, probably 10 years ago. It's still sharp in my mind. Your photos brought it all back, with a desire to return. One of these days I will go back, to Paris, Monet's garden and home, Rouen, and Honfluer. I want to see more of France, too, especially the southern part. I do enjoy travel. Say Hi to Francie for me, and have a blast with your bead therapy. Safe travels. Rosemary

Hi! Lisa,

Love these pictures but most of all the necklace - to die for!
