Todays Paintings


Day two of the class. These ones are better than yesterday. Still not fussed about the subject matter but I certainly enjoyed the processes and will probably do some more.

Lisa - you should be extremely proud - when I first saw your photos the other day I thought they were the sample the tutor had shown - then I realised they were yours - way to go you clever thing!!

OK, I don't care how great the technique is, you still have to know where to put the brush - and you do! I struggle at stick figures. I first thought yesterday's paintings were the tutor's samples, too!

I never thought I could paint, or would want to for that matter, until I painted the pictures for our County's 100th anniversary quilt. The problem I have now is that I don;t want to stop painting !

Amazing clever girl!!! Can you put up soem 'before' pics too so we can see what you were like t5hen?
They are lovely paintings, he mnsut be agood teacher to be able to teach pple so well (tho he DID have great artistic materiual to start with I know!).

Lisa, I have taken oil painting classes and it is hard hard hard! Your work is exceptional and I admire your easy hand -- quite an accomplishment!
