Edinburgh Festival

Had a great day wandering around the city today. Views of the Castle are spectactular from across the gardens.

Tonight we saw Five Guys Called Moe which was fabulous with Louis Jourdan music and brilliant dancing and singing.

Last night was Henry Rollins who I wasn't familiar with but now have a great respect for. His show was 75mins of intense energy and clever dialogue, much of which I really related to.
We found this brilliant craft market with over 100 traders - all high quality - which was in a graveyard. Many tempting items including some gorgeous knitwear but I resisted. I did manage to buy a new handbag (satchel style) in Urban Outfitters though.

One of the main Festival venues is called Udderbelly and is a very large inflatable purple cow. Just across the road from Tom's flat so very busy.

This is the restaurant suspended by a crane - we didn't bother with this one.

Street theatre everywhere.

Another show tomorrow and maybe a trip to the beach with the puppy
