I recently taught my Fantastic Fusion class for the first time - well there always has to be a first time doesn't there?
During the class I started demonstrating the technique but really loved the colours so when I took the samples home I pulled out some more fabric and fused it.
All the fabric is fused to fusible web and then cut and fused to larger pieces
And then cut and fused again and cut again
Then the strips are fused to each other to form blocks.
Blocks are then fused together until you have a quilt top
And here it is all fused together. Now for the quilting
I am really looking forward to teaching it again next week in New Zealand.

So.. you're saying that nothing is sewn until it's quilted?
Wow the possibilities!

Welcome to my life! Isn't fusing wonderful? And I love the colors too! Cheers, Sarah
How easy is that!!!! Great colour combimation you have here, Lisa. Look forward to seeing it again once the quilting is done. Kind of giving me ideas but I promised myself that I would not start on any new projects until I have finished what I have already started! D@mn; but now I have something to look forward to.
Thank you for making this site very interesting! Keep going! You're doing very well!
I LOVE the evolution of your color, from the first pieces you did in your class demo ... to the whole quilt. The yellows are stunning!
I'm working on fabric for two children's chairs ~ Riverside Tulips design with bright reds, blues, purples and deep teal. Using fusibles for contrast in texture to the canvas base.
Thanks for the inspiration!
This is so cool..thanks so much for the info. Love it!
This looks great! It seems to go pretty fast as well. Love the colours.
cheers, Marjolijn
