Some Finished Quilts

At Rockhampton I was thrilled to be shown some of the quilts that had been made since I last was there.

Joan did my Fabrications workshop and created this wonderful quilt. Don't you love the dragonfly. She got it from Nancy Eha's great book.

Joyce had purchased kits from me over the last few years and brought them to show me. Here is her Delicious quilt and she was making my Power of Three (with the Atlantis we were doing in the workshop) at the Retreat.

Joyce was also responsible for this which appeared on the whiteboard overnight.

Correction to Pattern

I have just found out that there is a typo in my pattern for ATLANTIS in Aust Patchwork & Quilting Magazine Volume 17 No 6 Summer Special. Somewhere between the final version and the printer - the 1/4in seam allowance turned into 1/2in. AP&Q are very sorry for this. All measurements in the pattern are correct for 1/4in seam.

I will contact everyone who has bought a kit from me but if you are thinking about doing it from the magazine please make sure you are aware of it.

Latest Published Quilt - Atlantis

My quilt Atlantis has just been published in the latest Australian Patchwork and Quilting Magazine and I am very pleased at how it has turned out.

What do you think?

It is available as a kit from my website and would make a great child's quilt or brighten up any room for that matter.

It is essentially one simple block in two sizes so a lot easier to make than you might think.

In answer to your comment CAMCAS - there are NO triangles. It is all stitch and flip method with squares and rectangles. So easy!
