Bushfire Sunset at Houston
Bushfire Sunset which I made with Nic Bridges was a finalist at Houston. No awards unfortunately but still an honour to be selected and it is still my favourite quilt (so far).
Thanks to Margaret and Mary-Anne who took some photos of it for me.
What a thrill for you to have your quilt hung at Houston a shame there was no award it really deserved one, it looks so vibrant hanging there the colours have captured the sissling heat you see when there is bushfire all around.
I love that you Bushfire quilt. You can almost feel the heat coming off it. And wow, a trip to Houston for that beauty. Just to be hung in that company is high praise.
