SAQA BENEFIT AUCTION
This is my contribution to the SAQA (Studio Art Quilts Associates) Benefit Auction 2010 which is to be held later this year. All pieces are 12 inches square.
Mine is a piece called Transformation which was the result of a challenge to use some ugly fabric (it was the white geometric design under the organza). The green is heavily quilted silk and the beads are really interesting triangular beads from Thailand.
It is definitely worth checking out the Auction as many really interesting quilt artists have already contributed (mine is on Page 2b) and an opportunity to buy some great arts. Many more will be added over the next few months and it is always an inspirational collection with the bidding happening fast and furious.

I like the quilt, Lisa. It is very much in my current crafty play mood. I have been attracted lately to order with things just slightly out. The "ugly" fabric works well with that. :)
