Stones and Cakes

We spent some time in Avesbury which is famous for its Stone Circle (bigger than Stonehenge but not as overrun with tourists. There is a beautiful manor there as well as the stones and although the interior of the manor is not all that much - the gardens are beautiful. Maybe the meaning of this bit of topiary is lost on me though....

In Oxford (only for a few hours) we went to the covered market and there is a cake shop where the cake decorators sit in the windows and create an enormous range of cakes. These ones really took my fancy.

My favourite, however, was this wedding cake with a very limited but quite specific market - so cute.
