Slashed

Slashed is another quilt in my book Beautiful Building Block Quilts.

It was made of a single piece of hand dyed cotton sateen

 

Blocks were made up of strips of fabric with inserts of yellow fabric.

They were then cut into strips and pieced in a graduating pattern.

Sometimes all you need is just one favourite piece of fabric.
